Where this came from

This started with a moment I didn’t expect.

During my son Ethan’s MLB draft process, teams came through the house with questions, pressure, and decisions. One scout handed him a blank journal. That stuck with me. The journal was thoughtful and useful but it felt incomplete.

Athletes carry more than they show. The thoughts, the doubt, the noise, most of it has nowhere to go. I wanted to give them a space where that can land. Not with answers, just somewhere to get it out and move forward. And more than that, a place where they can see themselves in other athletes and realize they are not alone in it.

"This is the thing nobody talks about in the locker room but every single one of us needs."
